WOOSTER, Ohio ââ¬â Secrest Arboretumââ¬â¢s first ââ¬ÅWhiz Bang Science Showââ¬Â of the year blasts off on Thursday (6/10) at 7 p.m. The popular program, presented by ââ¬ÅDr. Daveââ¬Â Lohnes of the Ohio Agricultural Research and Development Center (OARDC), is free for kids of all ages and their families.
This monthââ¬â¢s topic: Different states of matter ââ¬â solids, liquids and gases.
Lohnes, who works by day in OARDCââ¬â¢s information technology department, says the show aims to ââ¬Åexcite kids and spark a deep interest in science.ââ¬Â
Find Secrest Arboretum on the OARDC campus, 1680 Madison Ave., Wooster. Meet in the John Streeter Garden Amphitheater, about 1.7 miles from the main campus entrance.
