CLAYTON, Ohio -- Ohio State University’s Produce Safety Education Program originally scheduled for March 1 in Clayton near Dayton has been rescheduled to April 4 in the same location.
The registration process has been changed as well: Registration and payment ($40 per person) will be done at the door, not by mail.
Participants can call Ohio State University Extension’s Montgomery County office, 937-224-9654, in advance to reserve a spot. Attendance is limited to 50.
The program is a workshop aimed at improving the safety of fresh fruits and vegetables. Growers of all sizes are welcome. Hours are 6-9 p.m. at Northmont High School, 4916 National Rd., Clayton. Read more at http://go.osu.edu/B7q.
