COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Folks interested in attending a tree identification workshop next week in Columbus had better get chopping, although not the trees themselves. The registration deadline is tomorrow (7/8).
“Name That Tree” -- a fun but in-depth look at identifying trees by their leaves, both indoors and out -- takes place on July 15 from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. at Ohio State University’s Waterman Agricultural and Natural Resources Laboratory, 2490 Carmack Rd.
Forestry experts with Ohio State University Extension, the outreach arm of Ohio State’s College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences, will be the instructors. Sponsoring the workshop is OSU Extension’s Ohio Woodland Stewards Program.
