Pre-registration Deadline for Ohio Maple Days Extended to Friday (1/14)

WOOSTER, Ohio -- The pre-registration deadline for OSU's 2011 Ohio Maple Days -- set for Jan. 20 in Fulton, Jan. 21 in Fredericksburg, and Jan. 22 in Burton -- has been extended to this Friday (1/14).

Pre-registration costs $30 per person and reserves lunch for the registrant. Send name, address, location choice and registration fee (checks payable to OSU Extension) to OSU Extension, ATTN: Lisa, 1680 Madison Ave., Wooster, OH 44691.

The program features sessions by state and national experts plus a trade show. It aims to help Ohio maple producers get ready for the coming season, which starts in early February. The speakers, topics and hours -- 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. -- are the same at all three locations.

-- Jan. 20 at the Lutheran Memorial Camp, 2790 State Route 61, Fulton.

-- Jan. 21 at the Mennonite Christian Assembly Church, 10664 Fryburg Rd., Fredericksburg.

-- Jan. 22 at Joe J.S. Miller’s Window Shop, 15020 Shedd Rd., Burton.

The Ohio Maple Program, Ohio State University Extension, and the Ohio Agricultural Research and Development Center are the sponsors. All three are part of Ohio State’s College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences.
