COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Ohio State University Extension will be hosting an organic poultry production program via videoconference on Sept. 20 from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
The program is part of a five-part series for the Tri-State Organic IP Video Program, and is designed to educate farmers, producers and educators on organic poultry production or organic methods. The event is sponsored by OSU Extension, University of Illinois Extension, Purdue University Extension and North Central Region Sustainable Agriculture Research and Education.
The program will be held in 244 Kottman Hall, 2021 Coffey Road, on the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences campus in Columbus, Ohio, and in 130 Research Services Building, 1680 Madison Avenue, at the Ohio Agricultural Research and Development Center in Wooster, Ohio. No registration is required to participate.
Program speakers include Ohio State University animal sciences nutritionist Michael Lilburn, Mickey Latour from Purdue University, and Ken Koelkebeck from the University of Illinois.
