CUSTAR, Ohio – Soybeans will be the focus of Ohio State University's Field Crops Day on July 26 at the Ohio Agricultural Research and Development Center’s (OARDC) Northwestern Agricultural Research Station.
The event, which runs from 6 to 8:30 p.m., includes a wagon tour of the Agronomic Crops Trials at the research station during which Ohio State experts will talk about the latest innovations in field crops. Topics include soybean disease management and seed treatments, sprayer tank water quality, weed resistance issues, and insect challenges facing producers in the 2012 growing season.

The research station is located at 4240 Range Line Road, in Custar, about 2.5 miles northeast of Hoytville at the corner of Oil Center and Range Line roads.
