LONDON, Ohio -- -- A campaign which originated in southeastern Ohio to educate woodland owners on how to properly manage their forest resources while improving their financial return is going statewide.
Media are invited to attend a special event during Farm Science Review to learn more about the "Call Before You Cut" campaign and how Ohio woodland owners will benefit from it.
The event will be held Sept. 19 at 2:30 p.m. in Federation Park at the Molly Caren Agricultural Center in London, Ohio. The Ohio Division of Forestry, along with Ohio State University Extension and Rural Action, will be sponsoring the event.
Scheduled speakers include Ohio Department of Natural Resources director Sam Speck and Rural Action executive director Jane Forrest Redfern.
