PIKETON, Ohio -- Learn the ins and outs of Ohio's aquaculture industry and how to get started in the business by attending the Ohio Aquaculture Association's Annual Conference and Banquet.
The event, sponsored by OAA and Ohio State University's Ohio Center for Aquaculture Development, will be held Dec. 3 from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. at OSU South Centers at Piketon in Piketon, Ohio.
Aquaculture experts at Ohio State and from across Ohio's industry will present sessions on a variety of topics, including water quality testing, aeration, fish diseases, freshwater shrimp, recirculating systems and largemouth bass, yellow perch and blue gill cultures. Keynote speaker will be Randy MacMillan, President of the National Aquaculture Assocation and Vice President of Research and Environmental Affairs at Clear Springs Foods.
